But the history of the instrument is much more solemn, drawing its roots from a Persian commemoration that has today evolved into Hosay. Today, we speak with Lenny Kumar, of NGC Trinidad and Tobago Sweet Tassa, and two of his students to find out the full story behind the tradition.
