Three Planes Turned Back From T&T

National Security Minister Stuart Young has revealed that three plane loads of foreign energy workers were recently turned away, after they did not have their Negative PCR tests. He said based on the outbreak that occurred on oil rigs recently, protocols have been strengthened. But he lamented that the outbreak on the Perenco rigs could have been prevented if certain protocols were adhered to. Meanwhile, Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh confirmed that the Perenco rigs are being sanitised following the outbreak of cases. Mr. Deyalsingh assured that Government never took its eye off the Perenco issue, and was highly involved since cases were discovered.
