Tobago Man Killed In Drive-by Shooting

A 61 year old Bethel man is Tobago's first murder victim for 2021. Ryan Thornhill was shot and killed while three others were wounded on Monday at Sesame Street, Bethel. According to police, a group of men were revelling in the streets, when sometime around 8pm a masked man emerged from the bush firing shots at the crowd. Thornhill was shot in the left shoulder, 25 year old Bobby Roberts of Beverly Hills Bethel, and 22 year old Deon Thomas of Mot Mot Avenue, Sou Sou Lands received gunshot wounds to their abdomen, while Enoch O'Brien of Mt. St George was shot in the hip. They were rushed to Scarborough General Hospital where Thornhill succumbed to his injuries. Roberts and Thomas are said to be in critical condition while O’Brien is in serious but stable condition.
