Heritage And EOG Sign Agreement For Soldado Field

EOG Resources and Heritage Petroleum have signed on to a joint oil exploration venture in the Trinidad Northern Areas. Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley, speaking at the Signing Ceremony on Wednesday, said part of the TNA continues to be prospective for oil. He says the South West Soldado Field is expected to see an increase in oil production this year, which will auger well for the country. Additionally, the Prime Minister said there are other fields which have the potential to become new field developments in the near future. Dr. Rowley says the joint venture cements the commitment by EOG and Heritage to work together in this area. He notes that another area of interest for Heritage is the Jubilee Field, for which discussions are being held with several partners.
