A shipment of over 80,000 doses of AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccines is expected to arrive in T&T today. A release from the Ministry of Foreign and Caricom Affairs stated that the vaccines are being given to T&T by the Government of Canada. This donation comes after talks by Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley via direct correspondence to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau earlier this year. The release added that the Ministry of Health will be utilising these vaccines within its national vaccine rollout.
