Woman Shot Dead In Couva

A 31 year old woman was shot and killed in Couva this morning after the vehicle she was a passenger in crashed near the Gilbert Park roundabout. She has been identified as Natasha Mayvatie Moonasar of Calcutta Number One, Mc Bean Village in Couva. Police reports state that around 8:45am, Moonasar was in the back seat of a Nissan AD Wagon driven by a 64 year old woman. The report added that another car drove toward the wagon and crashed in the front. A gunman emerged from one of the vehicles and shot Moonasar several times. She died at the scene.
