Sacrifice Of Praise Grand Concert And Awards Ceremony

In recognition of the contributions of the Spiritual Baptist movement, the Mantle of Christ International Ministries hosted a grand concert and awards ceremony named "Sacrifice of Praise" at the Naparima Bowl, San Fernando on Saturday. Member of the organising committee, Joseph Attzs, said honouring the stalwarts and leaders of the Spiritual Baptist movement from San Fernando and environs, ahead of the Spiritual Baptist Liberation Day on March 30th, was a way of showing gratitude. Thirteen persons received awards, with Archbishop Barbara Burke and Bishop Siewdat Mahase receiving special awards for their dedication to the Spiritual Baptist movement while breaking barriers in education, community service and religion.
