Tobago Fishermen Want Inclusion In Flying Fish Talks

The All Tobago Fisherfolk Association wants to be part of the discussions to address issues relating to Bajan fishermen in Tobago’s waters. Speaking to the media on Wednesday, ATFA's President said a letter was sent to the Prime Minister on April 12th but no response has been received. Fisherman David Smart noted for the past five years Tobago’s flying fish catch numbers have been reducing. Earlier this month, Barbados’ Prime Minister Mia Mottley reportedly informed of plans for discussions between the Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago Fisheries representatives on the matter.
