TTO's Makaira Wallace finished 6th in the Women's Time Trial at the Pan American Junior Cycling Championships in Asuncion Olympic Park in Paraguay earlier today.
Wallace rode a time of 38.108 seconds over the 500 metre course.
Colombia's Stefany Cuadrado and Nathalia Martinez won Gold and Silver in 36.217 and 37.051. Divya Verma of the USA was third in 37.298.
TTO's Syndel Samaroo ended his Men's Sprint campaign in the Quarter Finals last evening.
Samaroo overcame compatriot Danell James in the 1/8th Final but fell to Colombia's Nicolas Olivera in straight rides.
The meet ends tomorrow.
