The Emancipation Support Committee of Trinidad and Tobago hosted its first major event of the 2023 Pan African Festival TT, Ewa Afrika 2- Sankofa Style. Described as a fashion extravaganza, Executive Chair of the Committee, Zakiya Uzoma-Wadada, said she looked forward to seeing people participate in this year's events. During the event, participants interacted with artisans and were treated to a fashion show held by several top local designers including Zadd and Eastman and The Nubian Experience. Participants were also entertained by jazz and steelpan music.
