Maloney Health Fair

Hundreds of Maloney residents had the opportunity to receive free medical screening on Sunday. As part of its outreach programme, the Seventh Day Adventist Church in the area joined with the Member of Parliament for Arouca/Maloney, Camille Robinson-Regions, to organise the Health Fair. Former Councillor for Mausica/Maloney and member of the Church, Stephan Wattley, said persons from across the country took advantage of the medical services being offered. Pastor for the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Maloney/D'Abadie, Roger Edwards, encouraged men to take advantage of prostate screening and shared a personal story. The Health Fair ran from 9:30am to 3pm and took place in the classrooms of the Maloney Government Primary School on Sunday.
