Tobago Chamber On THA's 5.8% Budget Request

Chairman of the Tobago Division of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Curtis Williams, believes that an initiative like the Capital Development Fund will be beneficial to businesses in Tobago. Mr. Williams' statement follows Chief Secretary Farley Augustine's final presentation as Finance Secretary on Monday in which he asked Central Government for 5.8% of the National Budget. Mr. Williams shared another initiative that would provide a significant boost to businesses at the Cove Industrial Park. He is hopeful that prudent use of the resources allocated can lead to a very positive outcome for Tobago business, and looks forward to a powerful business expansion in 2025.
