Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh is urging citizens to donate blood voluntarily.
In doing so, the Health Minister says that blood will always be readily available especially in cases of emergencies.

On Friday, the Ministry of Health held a Voluntary Non-Remunerated Blood Donation Drive at the Brian Lara Promenade. World Blood Donor Day is observed on June 14th annually. This year's theme is 20 years of celebrating giving: Thank you, blood donors!
