The 2024 staging of Tobago’s October Carnival, set to take place on October 25th to 27th, will see an increased private sector involvement. At Wednesday’s Post Executive Media Briefing, THA Secretary of Tourism, Culture, Antiquities and Transportation, Tashia Burris, said the planning began in January and will be completed by the end of April. However, Secretary Burris said the budget has not been finalised. The Tobago October Carnival Launch will see the involvement of the Tobago October Carnival Association and the Tobago Promoters Association. The Tourism Secretary said details will be shared when the date of the Launch is announced.
