An autopsy performed on prisoner Shurland "Big Mesh" Brown, who died after the brawl at the Port of Spain prison last Tuesday, has revealed that he died of unnatural causes.
TTT News was reliably informed that Brown died as a result of haemorrhage, poly-trauma, and multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The autopsy was conducted by Pathologist Dr. Somu Gajula. Independent Pathologist Dr. Hughvon Des Vignes was also present on behalf of the interest of the family.
The other prisoners who were also injured in the incident have all been discharged from the hospital.
Investigations are continuing.
