Seven Held for Ammunition, Narcotics

Seven suspects were arrested following the seizure of quantities of ammunition and narcotics. According to police reports, an anti crime exercise conducted in the Cunupia district resulted in the seizure of one revolver loaded with six rounds of ammunition and a quantity of marijuana. Officers also arrested three suspects for the offences of Illegal Gambling and Managing a Common Game House in the Tunapuna area. The same party of officers arrested a 24 year old male suspect for possession of a revolver and four rounds of ammunition and a 40 year old male suspect in connection with a report of Robbery with Aggravation. One Petit Valley man was also arrested by Gang and Intelligence Unit officers for possession of an AR-15 rifle, a magazine loaded with nine rounds of ammunition and a quantity of marijuana in the Western Division.
