Ash Wednesday Is For Everyone

"Ashes are for everyone." The words of Father Peter Aduaka during an Ash Wednesday Mass for students at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. During his homily at the annual Ash Wednesday Mass, Father Aduaka reminded students that everyone is welcomed to receive ashes. He reinforced that the act is not reserved for any particular religion. As the Lenten season begins, Father Aduaka encouraged the congregation to do some self reflection and repent for any sins they may have committed.
