Earlier today, Minister of Social Development and Family Services, Senator Donna Cox, delivered a statement on behalf of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) at the 62nd Session of the Commission for Social Development in New York.
During her remarks, Minister Cox conveyed that "Social justice is one of the many facets that impact development. It plays an intrinsic role in improving the well-being of individuals and restoring human dignity, particularly, for those who are in vulnerable situations."
