NDTF Nab Trio, Seize $3.6 Million in Liquid Cocaine

$3.6 million worth of liquid cocaine was seized by officers from the Northern Division on Friday. According to police reports, officers of the NDTF South were on mobile patrol yesterday, when they received information that the occupants of a Toyota Voxy motor vehicle were in possession of illegal narcotics. At around 1:30pm, the officers proceeded to Chootoo Road, Aranguez, where the vehicle was intercepted. Upon searching, they discovered several food items including three "pancake syrup" bottles and three "coconut oil" bottles containing a total of approximately 2.625 litres of liquid cocaine. The estimated street value of the seized narcotics is $3,659,040. A 32 year old from Clayton Bay and Bon Air Gardens, Arouca, a 46 year old from La Horquetta and a 55 year old from Aranguez were arrested in connection with the find.
