Tobago Day Triathlon

Tobago Day celebrations continued on Friday in an outdoor sporting style. The Divisions of the Tobago House of Assembly went up against each other in a triathlon starting from the Buccoo Integrated Facility. Secretaries and Administrators began the first leg in a walking race. Chief Secretary Farley Augustine brought his A-game and was the champion in this leg. The races continued with swimming at the Buccoo Beach after which athletes ran the third leg to the Mt. Gomery Junction handing over to the cyclists. The triathlon ended with a run to the Shaw Park Food Hub. In the end, the Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and Urban Development were declared the Tobago Day Triathlon Champions.
