Lining up in the 100 Metre Women's Final along with compatriot Reyare Thomas at the Chile National Stadium in Nunoa Santiago, Ahye ran out of Lane 2 while Thomas settled in Lane 8 and both were out of the blocks well in the clean start. Ahye crossed the line in third in a time of 11.53 just behind Guyana's Jasmine Abrams in 11.52, with the Gold Medal going to Cuba's Yunisleidy Garcia who finished in 11.36. Thomas finished in 6th with a time of 11.69.
