Tobago could lose an estimated $88 million in tourism revenues due to the lockdown of the international borders caused by COVID-19.
Chief Executive Officer of the Tobago Tourism Agency Louis Lewis says an analysis of the effects of COVID-19 on the Tourism Sector shows some staggering numbers.
He says in January, Tobago experienced a 21% increase in arrivals but that fell drastically to an 18% decline in February.
