Head of the Pediatric Emergency Department at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Dr. Joanne Paul, is recommending that children over five years old wear face masks because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
She said while most cases in children are mild, parents should still ensure they take the necessary precautions.
