Point Fortin Woman Dies In Car Accident

A Point Fortin woman is the country's latest road fatality. 58-year-old Karen Alexis Of Coconut Drive Fanny Village died on the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway, when the car she was in, crashed into a light pole. According to reports, just after one o'clock on Tuesday afternoon, Ms. Alexis was in the front passenger seat of the car driven by her son Kadeem Alexis, when it hit the utility pole on the southbound lane, just after the Golconda exit. Ms. Alexis was pinned under the dashboard and had to be removed by fire officers. Her 30-year-old son is being treated at the hospital.
