Officers of the Forestry Division are concerned about squatting for the use of agriculture, at the Ecclesville Windbelt Reserve in Rio Claro.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Forester Three of the South East Conservancy, Sunpaul Lalloo said there is an increase in illegal farming in the area, which also affects the wildlife at the reserve. He added that there's nothing much they can do under the current legislation.
