Rotary Club Of Maraval Gifted 100 Hampers

The Rotary Club of Maraval gifted one hundred hampers to over eight entities with donations of food and household supplies from the Trinidad and Tobago Knight Riders and HADCO this week. The hampers were distributed to the Women's Prison and several schools along with the Rainbow Rescue Orphanage for Boys and St. Andrew's Home for the Aged. They represented only a small part of the charitable donations being poured out all over Trinidad and Tobago by the TKR Cricket Team. Additionally, the same will be done by the Rotary Club of Princes Town who recently celebrated 27 years of service with the Rotary Club of Maraval and soon will also host a similar distribution in the south area from the hampers gifted to them. President of the Maraval Rotary Mrs. Marcia Prince-Assam said she is happy to see the generosity of the TKR and expressed gratitude to the team for their continued selfless efforts which further solidifies that they are Champions both on and off the field.
