The Port of Spain City Corporation has decided to keep the tennis courts in the city closed, based on the recommendations it has received.
However Mayor Joel Martinez says although they would have liked to reopen the courts, they were advised against doing so by their experts.
He says they were told to wait a bit longer to ensure the safety of those that would use the courts.
