Tobago is ready for the resumption of business activity. This, as Government's Phase Two of re-activating the economy is scheduled to kick off on Thursday May 21st 2020. Last Saturday Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley announced that Phase Two will see the reopening of both the construction and manufacturing sectors. At Wednesday's THA Post Executive Council Meeting in Tobago, Chief Secretary Ancil Dennis said business activity will bring relief to members of the public who have either suffered loss or reduction of income. Noting concerns among hoteliers on when they can resume bookings as a means of maintaining their business, the Chief Secretary said the COVID-19 emergency period and restrictions require patience.
