Minister of Public Utilities, Fitzgerald Hinds, assures that the Water and Sewerage Authority is attempting to increase water production and distribution to areas hard hit by a shortage of pipe borne water supply.
Responding to a question in the Senate on Tuesday, Minister Hinds explained that the harsh Dry Season has negatively impacted WASA's capacity to treat and produce water for the benefit of citizens.
Residents of Penal and Debe have complained about a lack of pipe borne water spanning 21 days.
