SPORT: Campbell Ready For Worlds

The countdown is on for local cyclist Teniel Campbell as she and her teammates at Italian outfit Valcar Travel, and Service Pro oufit get set to resume competition on the European Circuit. Campbell, who qualified for the Olympics in Tokyo before the Games were postponed by a year, has as her next big event, the upcoming UCI World Championships, set for September 20th-27th in Switzerland. As a result, all of her efforts are being tailored towards peaking for that event, taking into consideration doing her best for her team when the circuit resumes in July and August. Campbell and her teammates were limited to training at home and competing in a series of virtual races to stay fit and even there she was competitive, placing third in the last such race she competed in.
