Daycare Facilities To Remain Closed

Daycare facilities will not be among the next group of businesses earmarked to resume activity, in government's next phase of reopening of the country. Phase Three of the lifting of COVID-19 stay-at-home measures, saw Public Servants returning to work on Monday June 1st. Although members of the public have expressed concern about not having a place to leave their children while on duty, Chief Medical Officer, Dr Roshan Parasram said, the resumption of daycare activities is too much of a risk, as children cannot maintain social distancing.
