There is a steroid being used to successfully treat critically ill COVID-19 patients worldwide. A drug that is also available here in Trinidad and Tobago.
But medical professionals are warning, there is still no cure for COVID-19 and this drug should not be taken to avoid contracting COVID-19.
The warning came during the Ministry of Health's virtual media briefing on Wednesday, to update on matters related to COVID-19.
