Wallace In More Hot Water

When it rains it certainly pours for beleaguered TTFA President William Wallace, who found himself in more hot water over yet another secret deal he entered into without the Board's consent. Wallace, already under fire for independent contracts with National Coach Terry Fenwick and General Secretary Ramesh Ramdhan, for terms and duration not agreed to by the Board, and a secret deal with kit manufacturer Avec Sports, admitted to lying about an arrangement with marketing specialist Peter Miller. After initially denying that there was an arrangement with Miller to provide marketing services, on behalf of the TTFA, Wallace finally admitted that there was indeed a deal in place for the Englishman to assist the TTFA with marketing and sponsorship. But he denied that Miller was on a fixed US $20,000 a month retainer, and would have been paid a portion of the revenue he brought in, via sponsorship. Wallace though remains under fire for his many miss-steps since assuming office as President last November and faces an uncertain future among the United TTFA body, who has called a special general meeting for Saturday, to discuss the current state of affairs. --- #Sport #TTFA #WilliamWallace
