Government says measures are in place for dealing with the prospect of a second wave of COVID-19 cases.
Several countries, including South Korea, are reporting a second wave of Coronavirus infections.
At Monday's Virtual Media Conference, Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh said three Ministries are looking at the possibility of a second wave being spurred by infected food and pharmaceuticals.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Roshan Parasram explained further how the Ministries work together to ensure that imported food is safe to consume.
