Former Chairman of the Tobago Council of the PNM, Neil Wilson, has died. The PNM party pioneer died on Monday afternoon at hospital after feeling unwell. Mr. Wilson held the position of Tobago Council Chairman for 18 years, retiring in 2017. He also held various positions within the Tobago House of Assembly, including Secretary for Tourism and Transportation. Mr. Wilson was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Eco-Industrial Development Company of Tobago at the time of his death. He also received the Chaconia Medal Silver for his contributions to the Public Service in 2017.
