Salary Relief Only From One Source

Assistant Secretary of Health, Wellness and Family Development, Councillor Nadine Stewart-Phillips, is reminding Tobagonians that they can only apply for the Salary Relief Grant from one channel. At the Tobago House of Assembly's Post Executive Council Media Briefing on Wednesday, she said there were persons applying for both the NIS Relief Grants and the Income Support Grants from the Ministry of Social Development and Family Services. She said 1,506 applications were sent in to the Ministry from Tobago and 1,300 were approved. The other 206 were rejected. Councillor Stewart-Phillips also asked applicants to email their names to covidrelief@dhwfd.gov.tt if they have not received their Salary Relief Grant from NIS, or the Income Support Grant from the Ministry so that the Division can track the Grants on their behalf.
