The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is pleading with customers to do their part towards water conservation. During a tour of the Arena Reservoir on Thursday, WASA's CEO, Allan Poon King explained that over the past 18 months, there've been drier than normal Dry and Wet Seasons. He said storage levels at the country's reservoirs, namely Arena, Navet, Hollis and Hillsborough are significantly depleted. Mr. Poon King said the Authority is keeping an eye on the 2021 Dry Season, with a target to have reservoirs filled, or as close to capacity as possible come December 31st 2020. He said as a result, the water scheduling implemented in January 2019 remains in effect.
