Two More COVID-19 Cases

Two more people have tested Positive for COVID-19 overnight, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 156. The Ministry of Health says of the two additional persons testing Positive for COVID-19, one is the Primary contact of a recently Positive COVID-19 patient, and the other had contact with COVID-19 Positive patients. To date, the number of samples submitted to the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) and UWI site for testing for COVID-19 has been 6,955. Of this number, 5,395 have been unique patient tests. There are 19 active cases being treated at hospital - 18 patients are at Caura Hospital with one patient at the Couva Hospital and Multi-Training Facility. The Ministry says all established protocols have been implemented.
