Political Leader of the Nationwide Organisation of We The People (the NOW), Kirk Waithe, is promising he will push Government to legalise the commercial cultivation of marijuana.
Currently, marijuana cultivation is limited to personal use and is restricted to four plants per person. But speaking to residents in Phase 4, Beetham Gardens on Sunday, where NOW harvested the first set of vegetables, Mr. Waithe shared his views and his plans on the plant.
Mr. Waithe also wants to see the benefits from a marijuana industry reaching everyone, and not just a select few.
