Forty Tobago families have received an estimated six hundred thousand dollars in funding from the Division of Settlement to do minor repair work to their homes. At a Cheque Distribution Ceremony in Roxborough on Monday, Secretary of the Division of Settlements, Urban Renewal and Public Utilities, Assemblyman Clarence Jacob, said the Grant was especially beneficial to Tobagonians who live on the Eastern end of the island, as many of them are affected by the sea blast. Mr. Jacob said the majority of funds allocated to grant funding had been spent in the East. He said the Grants are all about improving the living spaces of Tobagonians.
