The Licensing Authority says senior citizens will now be required to make an appointment for renewal of their driver's license, and to conduct other business at the licensing offices. When the Licensing Authority first introduced the booking system drivers over 60 years old were not required to make an appointment. The Licensing Authority announced on Tuesday that all customers will be required to use the website, www.picktime.com/licensing appointment, to schedule appointments. The Authority says because of a huge increase in transactions arising from the closure of the licensing offices during the country's lockdown in March, a new online booking system will be launched on August 10th to facilitate additional appointment time-slots to the general public.
