14 Additional COVID 19 Cases

Fourteen additional people have tested Positive for COVID-19. The Ministry of Health, however, says the samples taken for these results came from within the period August 7th to the present. They emphasised therefore, that this figure is NOT representative of the positive cases over the last 24 hours. Six cases they explain tested Positive at private labs, while seven more are pending epidemiological investigation. One case is a contact of a recently Positive COVID-19 patient. There are 116 COVID-19 Positive patients in hospital. Twelve patients are en route for admission to hospital and the total number of active cases is 148. There are 20 patients in Step-down/Transition Facilities. One person has been discharged from the Caura Hospital.
