The recount of ballots in the St. Joseph constituency has resumed.
TTT News understands that ballot boxes are being recounted, then polling cards.
There are 56 boxes to be recounted, and confirmation came this morning that over 33 boxes have been recounted.
The United National Congress has requested recounts in five constituencies, including St. Joseph.
Preliminary results from the Elections and Boundaries Commission confirm Member of Parliament elect, Terrence Deyalsingh, receiving 9,354 votes, while the UNC's Ahloy Hunte got 8,543 - a difference of 811.
The recount is expected to be completed this afternoon.
