Four Test Positive In Tobago For COVID-19

Four more persons have tested Positive for COVID-19 in Tobago. The THA's Division of Health, Wellness and Family Development says all are contacts of recently Positive COVID-19 cases. All established protocols have since been implemented, inclusive of contact tracing, which is ongoing. Additionally, three Positive COVID-19 patients were transferred to Trinidad on Saturday. The three persons are all family members but one of the persons had pre-existing medical conditions and was deemed high risk and was transferred to Trinidad for intense monitoring and care. The other family members were included in the transfer to provide the necessary support to each other. The three patients were well when they left Tobago. Consequently, there are currently 14 active COVID-19 cases in Tobago.
