12 Children Receive Much Needed Tablets

Twelve children received electronic tablets as part of the Carapo/Peytonville Foundation's drive to enhance the lives of these students in the new digital age of education. The NGO hosted a short Distribution Ceremony at the Carapo Community Centre on Saturday for children who are in need of the devices. Director and Secretary of the NGO, Rhona Rogers, says the Foundation recognised the need for children in the community and D'Abadie/O'Meara to gain access to these devices, given that many schools will continue with online learning for the next academic term. The Carapo/Peytonville Foundation was founded in 2016 but only became functional within the past two years. Its Principal Director says it's only recently that the NGO decided to get on stream to assist students. He is calling for members of the community to support the Foundation to assist in the betterment of children and people in the area. The tablets were sponsored by Brand-ford General Contracting Services, and the NGO is promising to hold similar distributions in the near future.
