The Environmental Management Authority (EMA) will soon be delivering a final report on the use and impact on fireworks to the Government of Trinidad and Tobago. The EMA held a webinar on the results of a survey conducted on the subject on Tuesday and revealed that a majority of the respondents acknowledged their pets have been traumatised by its use and that sometimes it resulted in death. The survey also revealed, that some participants would prefer a ban on fireworks, while others would like to see noiseless fireworks.
