65 New COVID-19 Cases Recorded Today

This country has recorded a total of 65 new COVID-19 cases today. In the Ministry of Health's evening update, it said 47 additional persons tested Positive for the virus, which is in addition to the 18 cases recorded this morning. Of the 47, the Ministry says 20 are Nationals, while 27 are Non-Nationals who are currently quarantined at the Trinidad and Tobago Defense Force site. It adds that the individuals pose no risk of spread to the population. The Ministry says this brings the total number of Non-Nationals testing Positive for COVID-19 during phase two to 44. Meanwhile, a total of 402 persons were discharged from hospital today and have been home quarantined under the continuous monitoring of the respective County Medical Officer of Health.
