The local parang and music fraternity is mourning the passing of one of their own.
Hazel Rambaransingh passed away on Friday after a battle with cancer.
She had returned home recently after residing overseas for a number of years.
The 68 year old was popular in the 80s, especially for her Christmas music although she ventured into some pop and parang.
She leaves her five siblings to mourn her passing and had one child who passed away a few years ago.
