Fighting Cyber Security

Cyber criminals are winning the fight globally. This view was expressed by several Cyber Security experts during an international 'Tech Talk Forum' held by technology giant, Huawei. Chief Security Officer at Huawei Technologies USA, Andy Purdy, says as the world moves towards 5G technology, Governments need to work with mobile and internet service providers to stop hackers. He believes the world will become more dependent on information and communication technologies,as 5G spreads across the globe, and says it will be up to nations and their Governments to prosecute persons for cyber offences, or risk cyber criminals causing havoc on digitised systems. Security Director at software company, Micro Focus, Ramsés Gallego, said the 'internet criminals' keep on winning, since just one lapse from cyber security officials would constitute a failure on their part. He said cyber security officials need to learn to create the 'art of deception' to deceive attackers and said, they will continue trying to block cyber criminals from penetrating technology systems. The experts agree that the biggest and best companies can afford to have the most efficient technology to protect their systems, but it will be a long way before smaller companies get this type of protection.
