Police have recovered the car used in the abduction of a woman in Sangre Grande this morning.
However, the search for the mother of the owner of the Cost Cutters Supermarket continues.
Mary Ali, in the company of two security guards, had walked from her home on Juteram Street to open the supermarket at the corner of Juteram and George Streets at about 7:45am.
She had reached the car park of the supermarket when two men grabbed her, and forced her into a grey Mitsubishi Lancer.
The vehicle then sped off along Juteram Street into Coalmine Road.
Investigators confirmed the kidnappers have not yet demanded a ransom.
